I’ve been receiving a lot of emails from people wondering just where I got hands on my french flower making tools and any information I can give on making French Flowers with them.
So to best solve the puzzle I thought I’d share some info on here with you guys.

French Flower Making Tools are available from a few sources.
I bought mine from the Netherlands from Berry Rutjes Jr’s webshop at a cost of €225 plus postage and packing (which I think was about €15). Also, the webshop runs a little different to how you would expect, I had to purchase the tools online and then go to the bank and complete a bank transfer to the account (I was emailed the account details if memory serves me correctly). The bank transfer incurs an additional fee…so the cost starts to add up a wee bit. That said, the tools arrived beautifully packaged and I couldn’t be more pleased with them.
You can also get tools from Torb and Reiner who are based in Australia. (I don’t really know anything about their tools as I han’t met anyone who has purchased them from there).

RESOURCES:
As far as resources and information on French Flower Making goes, I would suggest that anyone starting out get an e-book published by Morse-Brown. “How to make silk flowers” will guide you through the basic steps of making a flower (you don’t even need to have the tools to follow their steps as they show you ways to improvise!)
After you’ve read the book you may like to go take a class on French flower making! There are various classes running all over the place teaching you the techniques and skills you need to master the art of flower making.
Just remember this requires a lot of patience! (especially when you’re starting out!) Also…. if you’re giving this a go…PLEASE be super cautious with your camping stove or burning spirits or whatever method you are using to heat your tools! Flower making – though beautiful…comes with more risks than you’d imagine if you’re not careful about what you’re doing!!
If you need any more help or if you have any unanswered questions, just comment or email me!

I have a set of the Torb & Reiner tools and I’m very happy with them. It looks like your set has several more pieces though. I also recommend the T&R French flower making DVD. It was nice to follow along. Thanks for your info!
